Templates

Coeus includes six built-in templates for common note types. When you create a note with a matching title or ask the AI to create a specific type, Coeus uses the template.

Using templates

When the AI creates a note of one of these types, it starts from the template. You can also create them manually:

  1. Click New Note
  2. Type a title that matches the note type (e.g., "Meeting with Sarah" triggers the meeting template, "The Lean Startup" triggers the book template)
  3. Coeus detects the type and fills in the template

The type detection is based on common patterns. "Meeting with..." or "1:1 with..." → meeting template. A name that looks like a person's name → person template.

If it guesses wrong, you can change the type in the editor's type field.
