Updates

When a new version is available, you can download and install it without leaving the app.

Checking for updates​

Go to Settings → Account. Click Check for updates.

If an update is available, you'll see the version number and a Download button.

Installing an update​

  1. Click Download: the update downloads in the background
  2. When it's done, click Install and restart
  3. Coeus restarts and opens on the new version

Your notes and settings are not affected by updates.

Automatic checks​

Coeus checks for updates at startup. If one is available, a banner appears at the top of the main window. You can install it then or dismiss the banner and update later.

Beta builds​

Coeus is currently in beta. Updates come out regularly. I'd recommend keeping it up to date: the update process is quick and reversible if something goes wrong.
